ROP announces partial road closure for Muscat Classic

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced a partial road closure on Friday, February 6, 2026, during the "Muscat Classic Stage" of the Tour of Oman 2026.

Parking will be prohibited on both sides of the roads adjacent to the race route, as follows:

The race starts from The Almouj, Muscat, at 10:55 AM, heading towards the coastal road in Seeb, reaching Al Mabela Bridge. Then, turn north at the Al Mabela traffic lights and head towards Al Salam Street, then turn right onto Al Khoudh Street, reaching the intersection of the sixth Al Khoudh traffic lights.


Then, turn towards the traffic lights of the Military and Security Medical City Hospital - Al Khoud, then turn towards the Al Rusayl area, heading towards Bausher, passing through Falaj Al Sham, Al Ansab, and Ghala village, then to Al Amerat via the mountain road, reaching Al Mahaj area.


Then, turn north through the Al Mahaj Bridge intersection towards Wadi Adai Road, then right towards Al Hamriya area, heading north to Qantab, then returning to Al Bustan Roundabout and turning north towards Al Hamriya, Yiti, then Qantab, then turning from Al Bustan Roundabout towards Sidab.


The stage finishes in front of the Council of Oman.
