Muscat: Oman’s Majees Club and Seeb Club are set to begin their campaign in the West Asia Men’s Club Volleyball Championship, hosted by Kuwait from February 2 to 14, with the participation of several of the region’s top clubs. The tournament is expected to be one of the most competitive editions in recent years, given the close technical levels and the presence of teams boasting strong continental experience.

Majees, who finished third in the Oman First Division League, open their campaign with a tough test against Qatar’s Al Rayyan Club on Wednesday at 3 pm. The match is seen as a real examination of the team’s capabilities against one of the tournament favourites, as Al Rayyan bring significant international experience along with a squad of seasoned professionals. Majees will rely on their team chemistry, fighting spirit and domestic form as they aim to match the high tempo and secure a positive result.

Seeb will look to build on their domestic title momentum and reaffirm their regional presence.
