

Muscat: The Public Prosecution reported on Monday about various child sexual abuse crimes related in the Sultanate of Oman.
These included 1,245 cases related to child sexual harassment, committing any form of violence against a child (1,212), exposing a minor to delinquency (846), child rape (106), and using a minor or handing them over to others for the purpose of begging (68), employing a child under the age of 18 who is under one's care (51), using the internet or technology to possess pornographic material about a minor (30), Violating a child's right to education until completion of basic education (24) and encouraging a child to engage in sexual activity (27).
