Muscat: The Public Prosecution investigations did not establish any direct responsibility on any person or entity in the incident where an Omani family of six was found dead in Amerat in November.

Some reports that circulated regarding the case are completely devoid of truth, according to the Public Prosecutor, when asked about the case on Monday during a media briefing.

It may be noted that the Royal Oman Police Operations Centre received a report indicating the death of an Omani family consisting of a couple and four children in the Al Utkiyah area of Al Amerat Governorate.

Initial investigations incdicated to inhaling carbon monoxide during their sleep.
