Muscat: Scattered rainfall was reported on Tuesday morning across several governorates, including North and South Al Batinah, Muscat and South Al Sharqiyah, as cloud cover continued to affect large parts of the Sultanate.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority, clouds remain active over the northern governorates, with chances of isolated rain over Muscat, North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah and parts of the Al Hajar Mountains. Satellite imagery also indicates continued cloud spread over coastal areas overlooking the Sea of Oman, with further rainfall possible in the coming hours.

The authority noted that low clouds and fog may form late at night and during the early morning over parts of Al Dakhiliyah, South Al Sharqiyah, Al Dhahirah, Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates, which could lead to reduced visibility.

Residents and road users have been advised to exercise caution, particularly in areas affected by rainfall or fog, and to follow safety instructions issued by the relevant authorities.
