MUSCAT: The Royal Army of Oman (RAO) received a new batch of citizens who will embark on a military training programme and join the RAO units. The programme is in pursuance of integrated national efforts made by the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) to employ citizens in coordination with the Ministry of Labour.

The RAO has extended its expertise, capabilities, facilities and human resources to the new recruits in a manner that provides them with a suitable environment and enables them to join the military service.

The training programme constitutes part of national plans to supply the SAF and other departments of the Ministry of Defence with qualified talent. — ONA
