MUSCAT: Total assets of Islamic banks and windows in the Sultanate of Oman reached approximately RO 9.3 billion by the end of November 2025, accounting for 19.4 per cent of total banking sector assets. This represents a 12.3 per cent increase compared with the same period in 2024.


Figures released by the Central Bank of Oman showed that total outstanding financing provided by Islamic banks and windows rose by 10.3 per cent to around RO 7.5 billion.


Deposits held by Islamic banks and windows also increased by 10.9 per cent, reaching approximately RO 7.3 billion by the end of November 2025. — ONA
