JAALAN BANI BU HASSAN: The third edition of the Al Tahaim Winter Season is set to launch from January 21 to February 7, promising an enhanced winter experience that blends culture, recreation and family-friendly activities.
The organising committee has finalised all logistical and technical preparations, transforming this year’s season from a series of events into a comprehensive winter attraction.
The programme features innovative design and a variety of activities that combine cultural heritage with open-air tourism, offering visitors seamless transitions between entertainment, education and leisure in a setting that reflects Al Tahaim’s unique character.
Mohammed bin Ali bin Amer Akaak, Wali of Jaalan Bani Bu Hassan and the Chairman of the Organising Committee, said the third edition follows best practices in tourism season planning, execution and experience design. “Our focus is on innovative content, integrated events and diverse activities to create an exceptional experience that exceeds expectations”, he added.
He noted that the season is fully supported by the private sector, including Oman LNG and Oman India Fertiliser Company, highlighting the private sector’s role in boosting tourism and maximising economic and social impact. Visitors from inside and outside the Sultanate of Oman are invited to enjoy a winter wonderland where every detail — from venue to events — enhances the overall experience.
The festival also emphasises sustainability and the promotion of Omani identity, leveraging the governorate’s natural environment to appeal to all age groups while supporting tourism and the local economy.
