According to the seasonal bulletin issued in January 2026, rainfall during January is expected to be below the climatic average over most parts of the Sultanate of Oman, particularly across the northern regions. Some areas may experience rainfall amounts close to the seasonal average.
For February 2026, the outlook indicates that rainfall is likely to remain below average across most parts of the country. A similar pattern is forecast to continue into March, with rainfall expected to stay below the climatic norm across the Sultanate.
