Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), through its Directorate of Relations and Security Information, said that Thursday, January 8, will be an official holiday for individuals working in ROP formations that operate under the official duty system.

The announcement comes in conjunction with the annual Police Day celebrations.

ROP clarified that police centres will continue their routine operations and provide all services around the clock, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery to the public.
