MUSCAT: The 6th International Conference on Numerical Analysis and Optimal Solutions (N-A-O 2026) kicked off on Monday at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU).
The 3-day conference is organised by the Department of Mathematics at the SQU’s College of Science. The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr Mohammed bin Nasser al Saqri, Dean of the College of Arts and Social Sciences at Sultan Qaboos University, Member of the State Council.
The conference addresses the latest research developments in the fields of theory, algorithms and advanced applications in engineering, science and medicine. It seeks to promote multidisciplinary research and integrate research efforts among sectors of relevance to pure and applied scientific knowledge.
During the conference, the participants will present their innovative research findings and discuss the latest developments in methods and techniques applicable to their fields of specialisation. The conference will also provide an opportunity for regional researchers to showcase their latest scientific contributions. — ONA
