MUSCAT: More than 8,600 Omani citizens (68 per cent males and 32 per cent females) registered for the "Together Forward" Forum scheduled to be held on February 8-9, 2026. The annual forum is organised by the Secretariat-General of the Council of Ministers.
The forthcoming 4th edition of the forum aims to consolidate the principle of community partnership in decision-making.
Registration statistics show that 46 per cent of those who registered for the forum were holders of a Bachelor's degree, while public sector employees constituted 41 per cent of the registrants.
The Secretariat-General of the Council of Ministers will conduct a sorting process for those registered for the forum. The sorting process will be based on specific criteria that ensure balanced representation of all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman. It will also reflect professional categories, academic levels and social diversity. - ONA
