Qatar commends Oman’s role in Yemen prisoner swap agreement

Doha: The State of Qatar has expressed its deep appreciation for the diplomatic efforts undertaken by the Sultanate of Oman, which culminated in the signing of a prisoner and detainee exchange agreement for Yemen in Muscat. Qatar described the agreement as a significant step toward addressing urgent humanitarian concerns and advancing the pursuit of security and stability in the region.

The State of Qatar further reaffirmed its unwavering solidarity with Yemen and its continued support for the Yemeni people in achieving their aspirations for security, stability and development.
