The Foreign Ministry has announced the entry into force of the reciprocal visa exemption for holders of ordinary passports between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Türkiye, effective from November 1, 2025.

Turkish citizens are exempt from the requirement to obtain a prior visa for entry into the Sultanate of Oman and residence therein for a period not exceeding 30 consecutive days per visit, and for a total period not exceeding 90 days within 180 days.

Under this arrangement, Omani citizens holding ordinary passports are exempt from the requirement to obtain a prior tourist visa for entry into the Republic of Türkiye and residence therein for a period not exceeding 90 days within 180 days.

The Ministry said that citizens wishing to travel to the Republic of Türkiye should ensure that their passport is valid for at least six months from the date of entry. It also urged everyone to have health insurance covering their period of stay.
