Seeb Club continued their strong performances in the Oman General Basketball League (OBL) after securing a dominant 105–33victory over Masirah Club in their preliminary round match of the 2025–2026 season. With this win, Seeb raised their tally to six points, sharing the top spot in the standings with Al Bashayer, who have the same number of points.

The match was largely one-sided, reflecting the clear gap in technical ability and experience between the two sides. Seeb imposed their rhythm from the opening minutes, relying on organised team play, quick ball movement, and effective defensive pressure. Several players stood out for Seeb, notably Mamoudy Badji, Rashid al Zahaibi, Ahmed al Sinani, Jawad Eid Kio Yu, and Zakaria al Wihaibi, while Jalal al Musallami and Omar al Hassani were the most prominent scorers for Masirah.

Seeb opened the game with strong offensive pressure, capitalising on fast transitions from defence to attack. Their sharp execution and control of rebounds allowed them to extend the scoring margin early, ending the first quarter ahead 19–6.

In the second quarter, Seeb continued to assert their complete dominance over the game, raising the tempo of play and intensifying their offensive pressure. They benefited from a wide range of attacking options, combining penetration plays with successful three-point shooting from beyond the arc. Seeb added a further 33 points, extending the gap and confirming their clear superiority, while Masirah managed only six points, as Seeb went into halftime leading 52–12.

At the start of the third quarter, Seeb maintained their strong presence on the court, sustaining a high level of performance without any drop in intensity, while allowing several players to showcase their abilities. Seeb capitalised on Masirah’s defensive lapses and limited offensive options, further extending their dominance. Seeb added 32 points during the quarter, while Masirah managed only seven, as Seeb closed the third period firmly in front at 84–19.

Masirah showed slight improvement in the final quarter, managing to score 14 points, but Seeb remained in full control and closed the game strongly with 21 points, sealing the emphatic 105–33 victory.

The match was officiated by Mazal al Hilali as first referee, Thani al Khalasi as second referee, and Wafaa al Samri as third referee. The scorer’s table was handled by Rayan al Dhabouni, Moosa al Siyabi, and Hafez Awlad Ahmed.
