OCO delivers thousands of tents to Gaza

In implementation of the Royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Oman Charitable Organization (OCO), in collaboration with the Sultanate of Oman’s embassy in Cairo and the Egyptian Red Crescent, delivered thousands of tents to the Gaza Strip via the ongoing land bridge.

OCO continues delivering aid to our brothers and sisters in the Gaza Strip in line with the Sultanate of Oman’s efforts to assist those affected and provide for their urgent needs.

Badr bin Mohammed al Zaabi, Acting CEO of OCO, said that the current shipment of aid includes thousands of tents designed to the highest specifications to provide safe shelter for affected families. He emphasized that this effort embodies the Sultanate of Oman’s longstanding humanitarian role and conveys a message of love and solidarity from the Omani people to their brothers and sisters in the Gaza Strip who are experiencing a humanitarian crisis.

Al Zaabi noted that the OCO continues to undertake its relief efforts to help meet the growing needs within the Gaza Strip, reflecting the directives of the wise leadership to stand with and support our brothers and sisters during this critical period of time.

The OCO has operated 16 air shipments of aid materials, food supplies in recent months, continuing the Sultanate of Oman’s efforts to support our brothers and sisters in Gaza.
