MUSCAT: In a landmark moment for women’s sports in Oman, the Muscat Eagles Netball Club Oman successfully organised the first-ever Women’s Netball Tournament recently at the Bausher Club. The event featured six dynamic teams competing in a full day of action-packed matches, drawing a large and enthusiastic crowd from across the community.


After a day of intense and spirited competition on December 6, Net Warriors Team emerged champions while British School Muscat (BSM) Team claimed the runner-up position. Muscat Netball Team finished third.

The tournament brought together players from a remarkable mix of nationalities, including Oman, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Iran, the Philippines, India, Australia, Syria, Kenya and many others — truly showcasing the diversity, unity and growing passion for netball in the Sultanate of Oman.
