Two arrested in Musandam for attempting to traffic hashish

Muscat: Police in Musandam Governorate have arrested two Asian individuals in the Wilayat of Daba on charges of possessing and attempting to smuggle hashish for the purpose of trafficking. The arrests were carried out by the Directorate for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances under the Police Command of Musandam Governorate.

According to the Royal Oman Police, the suspects were found with quantities of hashish that had been concealed inside vehicle tires. Authorities confirmed that the concealment method indicated an intention to distribute the narcotics.

Legal procedures against the two individuals are currently underway.
