

MUSCAT: Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), on Monday, received in his office at Muaskar Al Murtafaa Air Chief Marshal Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu, Commander of the Turkish Air Force, and his accompanying military delegation.
The SAF Chief of Staff welcomed the Commander of the Turkish Air Force and in their meeting exchanged views and discussed topics of mutual interest.
Air Vice Marshal Khamis bin Hammad al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), attended the occasion.
Air Vice Marshal Khamis bin Hammad al Ghafri also received in his office at Muaskar Al Murtafaa Air Chief Marshal Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu, and his accompanying military delegation.
The RAFO Commander welcomed the guest and his accompanying military delegation. The two sides exchanged views on a number of military topics of mutual interest.
Furthermore, Air Chief Marshal Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu, and his accompanying military delegation, accompanied by Air Vice Marshal Khamis bin Hammad al Ghafri, visited the Maritime Security Centre (MSC). The Acting Head of the MSC received them upon arrival at the Center’s headquarters.
During the visit, the guest listened to a briefing on the MSC's roles and its efforts in preserving the security and safety of the environment and navigation in Oman's maritime areas. He also toured the Centre's facilities and reviewed the modern technologies and systems it is equipped with.
Meanwhile, Air Chief Marshal Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu, and his accompanying military delegation, accompanied by Air Vice Marshal Khamis bin Hammad al Ghafri, visited the Military Technological College (MTC). They were received upon arrival at the College's headquarters by Air Commodore Mohammed bin Aziz al Siyabi, Dean of the MTC.
During the visit, the guest and the accompanying military delegation listened to a briefing on the MTC and its educational mission. — ONA
