

MUSCAT: The Civil Aviation Authority today approved the National Aviation Strategy 2040, as part of its celebration of International Civil Aviation Day.
This took place in a ceremony held in Muscat Governorate under the auspices of Shaikh Al Fadhl bin Mohammed al Harthy, Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, in the presence of some strategic partners in the civil aviation sector.
During the event, the chief guest launched the logo of the strategy. This launch represents a prominent strategic milestone in the journey of developing the aviation sector across several key areas. These include legislation and governance, airport infrastructure, safety and security, air navigation services, business development and investment, general aviation and drones, national competency development, in addition to sustainability and innovation.
