MUSCAT: The 14th meeting of the Strategic Consultative Team between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of India was held in Muscat.


The Omani delegation was led by Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali al Harthy, Under-Secretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, while the Indian delegation was headed by Arun Kumar Chatterjee, Under-Secretary of India’s Ministry of External Affairs for Neighbouring Countries and Consular Affairs.


The meeting reviewed bilateral cooperation in civil aviation, logistics, vocational training, mining and energy, alongside discussions on consular matters and agreements between both countries. The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international developments.


The meeting was attended by Ambassador Shaikh Ahmed bin Hashel al Maskari; Godavarthy Venkata Srinivas, Ambassador of India to Oman; and several senior officials from both sides. — ONA
