The Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) will celebrate the conferment of the Sultan Qaboos Sailing Trophy, in its 13th edition, to winners on Thursday. The Sultan Qaboos Sailing Trophy serves as one of the most prominent international awards in the field of sailing due to the fact that it propagates the message of peace and coexistence. The trophy stands out as a tribute to Oman’s ancient maritime heritage. It eternalises the journeys of maritime glories maintained by Omani sailors throughout history. It also consolidates cultural relations and revives bonds of amity between the Sultanate of Oman and the countries of the world.
