The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism is organizing promotional roadshows in the People's Republic of China.

The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism is preparing to conduct a series of roadshows in the People's Republic of China from December  1 to 5, which will be held in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.

The official delegation participating in these events will be headed by Azzan bin Qasim Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry for Tourism, and will include representatives from 22 Omani tourism institutions. This reflects the importance of this visit in supporting the Sultanate's international promotional efforts.

The program also includes the launch of a direct flight by China Eastern Airlines to Beijing Daxing International Airport, in cooperation with Oman Airports. The new route will connect the Chinese capital, Beijing, with Muscat, a move that underscores the complementary efforts between the two sides and the alignment of promotional plans.

This launch also represents a significant milestone in enhancing air connectivity, facilitating travel, and increasing tourist flow between the two countries.

Workshops in Chinese cities will provide a specialized promotional platform to foster cooperation between participating Omani tourism companies and hotels and their Chinese counterparts. This will be achieved by showcasing the most appealing tourism experiences for Chinese tourists and highlighting the unique assets of the Sultanate of Oman, including its rich heritage, diverse natural sites, and sustainable tourism products.

Several meetings will also be held during the events with major Chinese tourism companies to present promising investment opportunities in the Sultanate's tourism sector.
