

The Sultanate of Oman participated in Halal Expo 2025 held in Istanbul with the participation of more than 50 countries. The event attracted over 50,000 visitors from more than 100 countries. The Sultanate of Oman’s delegation was headed by Ibtisam bint Ahmed al Faroojiyah, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for Investment Promotion. The Sultanate of Oman’s participation comes within the framework of its strategy aimed to develop opportunities in the global halal economy market and enhance its presence in the value chains associated with this growing sector. This expo is one of the most prominent international events specialising in halal products and services. It also comes within the context of efforts to strengthen the Sultanate of Oman’s commercial presence and expand its export network, as part of an economic vision aimed at opening up to new markets and enhancing partnerships with countries in the region and the world. — ONA
