His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, graced the Fleet Parade 2025, within the context of the Sultanate of Oman's celebration of the Glorious National Day.

The Royal Yacht (Falak Al Salamah) carrying His Majesty the Sultan set sail from the Port Sultan Qaboos in the wilayat of of Muttrah, accompanied by a group of traditional sailing ships, in a scene that embodies the authenticity of the Omani maritime heritage and the pride of the people of the nation in their ancient history, which reflects the maritime history of Oman, and the achievments of the Royal Navy of Oman.

Citizens and residents of Muscat were subject to a special bonanza as naval vessels belonging to the Sultanate of Oman's Navy Fleet, the Royal yacht, and boats from the Royal Oman Police participated in the majestic fleet review, alongside the participation of ships from the navies of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

The Qurum Beach in Muscat will witness an exceptional maritime spectacle, featuring several vessels from the Royal Navy of Oman, with the participation of the Royal Oman Police, the Royal Yachts, and ships from the navies of the GCC.

Accompanying events to be held on Qurum Beach street between 4 pm and 10 pm will include a military band, folk and scout bands, laser shows from naval vessels, Screen and sound technology shows, kite flying, Royal Navy of Oman exhibition, and fireworks.

As part of the preparations for the National Day celebrations and the accompanying events for the naval fleet review, the road from the Foreign Ministry roundabout to the Qurum Beach roundabout in Muscat Governorate will be closed for traffic from Tuesday morning until 3 pm on Saturday, November 22.

The closure is for organizational reasons and to ensure the smooth flow of preparation and execution work.

The General Secretariat for National Celebrations urged all road users to take alternative routes and adhere to the issued traffic instructions.

The General Secretariat for National Celebrations has announced a fireworks display at Qurum Beach at 9 pm today.

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has outlined comprehensive transport and traffic arrangements for spectators planning to attend the National Day celebrations and naval parade taking place in Qurum.

To ensure the smooth movement of crowds and maintain safety throughout the event, the ROP has designated several public parking areas and organised shuttle services linking these locations to the parade site.

Visitors may park their vehicles at the following assembly points:

Qurum Park front parking

Qurum Park back parking near the Children’s Museum,

Amphitheatre side parking within Qurum Natural Park

Shuttle buses will operate continuously between these locations and the event venue.

The ROP urged attendees to use the designated parking zones and strictly follow security and safety instructions. Transport will be provided from all assembly points directly to the parade area and back.
