This launch is part of the cooperation and integration efforts between the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, ASYAD Group, and partners in the public and private sectors, aimed at enhancing the Sultanate of Oman’s position on the international maritime tourism map and making Omani ports a major hub for global cruise lines.

The arrival of the ship marks a start to an active tourist season, as Sultan Qaboos Port is expected to see an increase in the number of cruise ships visiting the Sultanate of Oman in the coming months, reflecting its growing appeal as a distinguished maritime destination in the region.

Maritime tourism is one of the main pillars that the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism is working on within its strategy to develop the tourism sector, in cooperation with the Asyad Group and the rest of the partners in the public and private sectors, in line with the objectives of the “Oman 2040” vision aimed at diversifying the national economy and enhancing the elements of tourist attraction.
