Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced regulations governing the placement of stickers and decorations on vehicles in celebration of the  National Day of Oman, under the theme “Let’s celebrate safely.”

According to the ROP’s Directorate General of Traffic, vehicle owners are allowed to place National Day stickers from November 5 to November 30, 2025, provided that all decorations comply with safety standards and do not obstruct visibility.

The guidelines specify that stickers may only be placed on the vehicle body or rear glass, ensuring they do not block the driver’s view. Stickers should be securely attached and related to the National Day theme. It is strictly prohibited to place fabric decorations or stickers on the engine hood, to change the vehicle’s color or design, or to apply stickers to the front or side windows.

The ROP further reminded the public that stickers must reflect appropriate and patriotic imagery or expressions and must not compromise road safety.
