MUSCAT: The Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM) has announced an exceptional November programme that celebrates global artistry, musical excellence and cultural harmony, featuring a diverse lineup of concerts, performances and exhibitions.
The month begins with ‘Military Music: Oman and the World’, to be held from November 6 to 8 at 7 pm in the ROHM Maidan. The three-night outdoor spectacle will feature military bands from Oman and around the world, showcasing bold performances and ceremonial grandeur that highlight both discipline and artistic flair.
On November 10, the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra will perform a special concert with pianist Samih Sawiris at the Royal Opera House of Musical Arts (ROHMA). The evening promises an exquisite fusion of Arab and European compositions, symbolising cross-cultural unity through music.
Music enthusiasts can look forward to a captivating performance by Gulf superstar Rabeh Saqer on November 13 at the ROHM Maidan, where the celebrated artist will bring the magic of Khaleeji rhythms to an open-air setting.
The Ossipov National Academic Folk Instrument Orchestra of Russia will take the stage on November 17 at ROHMA, presenting the expressive charm of Russian folk instruments performed by one of the world’s most distinguished orchestras.
A major highlight of the month is the ‘Rhythm of Life: Richness and Diversity in Omani Arts’ exhibition, opening on November 19 and continuing through February 2026 at ROHMA. The exhibition will showcase Oman’s musical heritage through immersive displays, rare instruments and interactive experiences.
Concluding the month, audiences will enjoy soulful jazz with Emmaline and British pianist Anthony Strong on November 27, 28 at ROHMA, offering two evenings of smooth and intimate performances.
