

MUSCAT, NOV 2
The Oman Equestrian and Racing Federation (OERF) has signed five partnership agreements with private companies and stables to enhance and promote show jumping for the 2025/2026 season, the agreements were signed in the presence of Sayyid Munther bin Saif al Busaidy, Chairman of the Federation and representatives of the participating entities.
The first agreement was signed with Mubasher Company, which will provide innovative media and advertising services to strengthen the digital and promotional presence of equestrian events, representing the company, Ali bin Hussein al Raisi, CEO of Mubasher, “This partnership connects national sports with modern digital platforms to ensure horse racing reaches its audience effectively and widely.” Al Raisi said.
The second agreement was concluded with Oman Broadband Company to support the Oman International Show Jumping Championship 2025, as part of its social investment initiatives, Eng Sultan bin Ahmed al Wahaibi, CEO of Oman Broadband, stated “Sports are a platform for developing Omani talent and empowering youth, aligning with Oman Vision 2040, our support reflects our commitment to sustainable community development.”
The third partnership was signed with the Majd Show Jumping League, launched this season under the federation’s supervision and jointly organised by Al Said Stables, the Olympic Equestrian Training Centre, Al Rayan Stables and Horseira Equestrian Club for the 50cm, 70cm and 90cm categories, Khalid bin Said al Wahaibi said “This collaboration marks a new stage for show jumping, encouraging beginners to compete and preparing them for future local and international events.”
The fourth agreement was with Oman Masters, which returns this season with a series of local and international tournaments scheduled for December 2025, January 2026 and March 2026, representatives Hassan bin Mahboob Hashmani and Ahmed bin Awad al Shanfari emphasised the event’s role in linking sport, heritage and culture, promoting the noble values of Omani horsemanship.
The fifth and final agreement was signed with the Distinguished Equestrian Institute, represented by Munther bin Humaid al Manji, who confirmed the institute will host a show jumping competition in January 2026 for 50cm, 70cm and 90cm heights.
At the closing ceremony, Sayyid Munther al Busaidy stressed that these agreements reflect a model partnership between the public and private sectors, enabling the federation to organise international standard events and strengthen Oman’s global presence in equestrian sports.
