Asian football chief visits Oman

The Oman Football Association (OFA) welcomed the visit of Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and First Vice President of FIFA, to the Sultanate of Oman on Saturday.


This visit comes within the framework of strengthening the bonds of cooperation between the Omani and Asian federations, and reviewing the efforts made to develop football in the Sultanate of Oman in a way that achieves the desired goals and raises the level of the game at both the technical and administrative levels, an OFA statement said.

OFA expressed its deep appreciation for this gracious visit, which reflects the depth of the distinguished relationship it shares with the Asian Football Confederation, and the continuous support it receives in its journey towards developing Omani football and enhancing its continental and international presence, it added.
