Shabab Oman II’s homecoming on Wednesday

MUSCAT: The Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) is holding a celebration to mark the return of its ship Shabab Oman II, on Wednesday.

Shabab Oman II has recently concluded her seventh international voyage titled Glory of the Seas 2025, which saw her visiting several ports across Europe, delivering the noble messages of peace and friendship among nations and promoting the Sultanate of Oman’s rich maritime heritage.

During its voyage, Shabab Oman II achieved a number of international maritime awards.

An official reception ceremony will be held at the Said bin Sultan Naval Base under the auspices of Sultan bin Salim al Habsi, Minister of Finance in presence of officials, commanders of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) and other military and security bodies, members of the State Council, senior and retired officers of the Sultan’s Armed Forces and other military and security bodies, dignitaries and ambassadors of sisterly and friendly countries.
