MUSCAT, OCT 22

Youth Handball League promise thrilling encounters to determine the finalists who will compete for the championship title on October 29.
The first match will see Muscat face Nizwa, followed by the second clash between Seeb and Ahli Sidab, both promising high paced action and tactical battles.
Last week’s first leg matches showcased intense competition and fine displays of skill, Muscat earned a hard fought 23–21 victory over Nizwa in a tightly contested match that went down to the final minutes, marked by solid defences and fast counterattacks, While Muscat hold a slight advantage, Nizwa need to win by at least two goals to reach the final.
Meanwhile, Seeb dominated Ahli Sidab with a convincing 26–17 win, controlling the tempo from the
start through organised attacks and a disciplined defence. Despite a strong second half effort, Ahli Sidab struggled to break Seeb’s defensive wall but remains determined to stage a comeback in the return leg.
According to tournament regulations, if two or more teams finish tied on points, rankings will be
determined by head to head results, followed by goal difference and then total goals scored. If the tie persists, a draw will be conducted in the presence of club representatives and the match supervisor to resolve any remaining technical or administrative issues.
