Confirming its commitment to social responsibility and enhancing its support for national and humanitarian initiatives, Oman Airports signed a support agreement with the Association for Children with Disabilities that aims to contribute to supporting the operating budget of the association's rehabilitation centres, ensuring the sustainability of services provided to children with disabilities.
The commitment of various entities to such initiatives stems from the importance of integrated work between public and private sector institutions in supporting national efforts aimed at empowering various segments of society and enhancing the quality of life in Oman, along with its commitment to social responsibility in supporting national and humanitarian initiatives.
Ahmed al Amri, CEO of Oman Airports, emphasised that the agreement reflects the company's deep commitment to social responsibility and its constant support for initiatives that empower various segments of society. He noted that through such partnerships, Oman Airports aims to create a positive and sustainable impact on Omani society.
Al Amri added that signing this agreement falls within Oman Airports' strategy to solidify its role as an effective national partner in supporting community initiatives with a tangible impact, particularly those targeting people with disabilities. This aligns with its vision for its airports to be platforms that inspire giving and responsibility, contributing to building a more inclusive and cohesive society.
On her part, Khadija bint Nasser al Saatiyah, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Association for Children with Disabilities, expressed her gratitude and appreciation to Oman Airports for this initiative, which reflects the company's deep awareness of its social responsibility. She praised its pioneering role in supporting humanitarian and development programmes that empower children with disabilities and improve the quality of services provided to them.
