Muscat Municipality has started implementing the rehabilitation and development project of the Wadi Qantab project as part of its efforts to develop public spaces and support sport and recreational activities.
The Wadi Qantab development project includes the implementation of several construction and beautification works, the most prominent of which are:
Construction of a walkway paved with interlocking tiles (interlocking) with a length of 700 meters and a width of 4 meters.
Installation of lined gravel (rebrab) on both sides of the stream with a length of 700 meters to enhance protection.
Establishing protections for the Wadi stream, which will be an important factor in preserving roads and other services that are affected during rainfall and the flow of the Wadi
