

Omani Women's Day is being celebrated today. A selection of musical performances will be presented by the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra and the Muscat Philharmonic Orchestra, led by the promising Omani singer Ilham al Touqi.
The Royal Opera House Muscat annually celebrates Omani Women’s Day through a concert celebrating the achievements of Omani Women in all fields including music, art and society.
This celebration honour’s women’s valuable contribution in developing the community, building the nation and to acknowledge their dynamic role in preserving the Omani heritage in folklore, music and singing.
This season 2025-2026, the Royal Opera House Muscat presents an exceptional programme, as the audience will enjoy beautiful masterpieces by ROSO Ladies’ Ensemble that is considered one of the remarkable groups in the region, and their concerts witnessed success locally and internationally since its inauguration in 1985 to the present. he ROSO Ladies’ Ensemble is the best example of the Omani women’s artistic contribution and its huge success in the field of art.
The programme also features an inspiring performance by Omani female musicians from the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra, in addition to the Muscat Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, led by the promising Omani Ilham al Touqi.
Star Diana Haddad will be the guest of honour with her band, concluding the concert with a selection of her wonderful songs.
