

MUSCAT: The fourth Al Assalah Towers art competition transformed Al Ghubra into a lively canvas of colours, creativity and community spirit. Held at Al Assalah Towers in Muscat, the much-anticipated annual event brought together 125 talented artists — from children as young as four to adults — all belonging to the Al Assalah Towers community.
The competition served as an inspiring platform for budding and seasoned artists alike to showcase their imagination and artistic expression. The event was judged by renowned artists Khursheed Raja and Chanjeet Singh, whose expertise and constructive feedback added great value to the judging process. Both artists offered thoughtful insights and encouragement, inspiring participants to continue honing their creative skills.
Residents and attendees praised the initiative for its role in nurturing community bonds and promoting the arts. They emphasised that art is more than just beauty on canvas — it reflects emotion, imagination and the shared human experience. The day concluded with a vibrant prize distribution ceremony attended by over 200 residents. Winners received trophies, certificates of merit, and exciting prizes, while every participant was recognised for their enthusiasm and creative energy. The event reaffirmed Al Assalah Towers’ commitment to fostering community engagement and encouraging artistic pursuits among its residents.
