KUWAIT: The Sultanate of Oman participated in the meeting of GCC culture under-secretaries, which was held in the State of Kuwait on Wednesday.
This meeting serves as a preparatory session preceding the 29th Meeting of GCC Ministers of Culture.
The Sultanate of Oman was represented by Sayyid Said bin Sultan al Busaidy, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Culture.
The meeting addressed several topics on the agenda, most notably: discussing the annual plan for joint Gulf events and activities, the Culture Statistics Platform which handles statistical data within the GCC Statistical Centre website, discussing the preparation of a Gulf Strategy for Cultural Creative Industries 2027-2030, and areas of joint cultural work between the GCC states and a number of countries and international bodies and institutions concerned with cultural affairs. - ONA
