Minsk, Belarus: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik began his state visit to Belarus with symbolic engagements at some of the country’s most significant cultural and historical sites. At Victory Square in Minsk, a landmark honoring the sacrifices of the Belarusian people, His Majesty laid a wreath of flowers in tribute to the fallen. The Sultan also visited the Museum of Military History, one of the foremost military museums in Europe. There, His Majesty toured various exhibits showcasing rare artifacts, historical documents, and weaponry, and was briefed on the museum’s interactive displays that recount pivotal moments in Belarusian and European military history.

Following these cultural engagements, His Majesty held official talks with President Alexander Lukashenko at the Independence Palace. Both leaders expressed satisfaction over the growth of ties and reaffirmed their commitment to deepening cooperation across economic, trade, and investment sectors. As part of the visit, the two countries formalized their partnership through the signing of two agreements, four memoranda of understanding (MoUs), and one memorandum of cooperation, providing new frameworks for institutional collaboration. His Majesty was accompanied by a number of Omani ministers to identify and expand opportunities in various sectors.

In Muscat, the Oman–Bahrain Economic Forum convened to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation. The forum reviewed investment prospects, economic incentives, and the supportive environment both Oman and Bahrain offer to regional and international investors.

His Majesty described the visit as a historic opportunity to celebrate the long-standing friendship between Oman and Belarus while laying the groundwork for stronger future cooperation. He emphasized that Oman remains committed to reinforcing these relations comprehensively for the benefit of both nations and peoples.
