Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Sunday issued three Royal decrees reading as follows:
Royal Decree No 83/2025 appoints a Chairman for the Projects, Tenders and Local Content Authority.
Article (1) states that Badr bin Salim bin Marhoon al Maamari shall be appointed as Chairman of the Projects, Tenders and Local Content Authority.
Article (2) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
Royal Decree No 84/2025 ratifies "Makkah Al Mukarramah Convention for Member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Cooperation", signed in the Republic of Maldives on 7 May 2025.
Article (1) ratifies the aforementioned convention in accordance with the version attached to this decree.
Article (2) says this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
Royal Decree No 85/2025 ratifies an agreement signed in Muscat on 27 May 2025 between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran on mutual administrative assistance in customs matters.
Article (1) ratifies the abovementioned agreement in accordance with the version attached to this decree.
Article (2) says this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
