NEW YORK: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, held a series of high-level meetings on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
He met separately with Muhyiddin Salim Ahmed, Foreign Minister of Sudan; Georgi Georgiev, Foreign Minister of Bulgaria; Ararat Mirzoyan, Foreign Minister of Armenia; and Murat Nurtuliu, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan.
During the talks, both sides reaffirmed their dedication to strengthening friendly and cooperative relations across economic, scientific and cultural fields. The discussions also touched on pressing regional and international issues, with an emphasis on the importance of continued consultation and coordination to support peace, stability and sustainable development. - ONA
