MUSCAT: The activities of the first edition of the 'Itlaq' Accelerator Programme concluded in Muscat Governorate. The programme aimed to support the transformation of entrepreneurial ideas into promising start-ups, thereby enhancing the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the Sultanate of Oman.


The closing ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr Saif bin Abdullah al Haddabi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation for Research and Innovation.


The 'Itlaq' Accelerator Programme is the result of joint cooperation between the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and Sultan Qaboos University to support start-up projects in a number of vital sectors. These include food, energy, environment, water, information technology, communications, health and biotechnology.


The programme provides a supportive and stimulating environment that contributes to enhancing creativity, honing skills and developing ideas, turning them into a tangible reality through integrated technical and technological support, with a focus on achieving rapid growth and market expansion, along with specialised programmes that comprehensively address the needs of participants. - ONA
