Oman, Hungary discuss enhancing military cooperation

BUDAPEST: The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Hungary reviewed bilateral relations and exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest aimed at enhancing military cooperation to serve their common interests.


This came during a meeting between Dr Mohammed bin Nasser al Zaabi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defence, and Kristof Szalay-Bobrovniczky, the Hungarian Minister of Defence, along with a number of senior officials.


The meeting was part of the official visit by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defence and his accompanying delegation to Hungary.


The meeting was attended by Malallah bin Mahmoud al Balushi, Oman's Ambassador to Hungary.


The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defence and his accompanying delegation also met with a number of senior officials from Hungarian military industries companies.


During this meeting, the latest products and modern military equipment developed by these companies were highlighted. Future cooperation opportunities were also discussed. - ONA
