

MUSCAT: The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) on Wednesday organised a symposium titled “Prospects of Research and Innovation in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Towards a Sustainable Knowledge Economy”.
The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Ahmed bin Musallam al Rawas, Assistant to the Head of the Medical City for Military and Security Services (for Administrative Affairs and Human Resources).
The symposium covered four main topics. The first focused on research in the age of artificial intelligence. The second dealt with the role of research in generating innovation. The third elaborated on concepts and mechanisms of incubators and accelerators in academic institutions. The fourth discussed the extent to which research and innovation influence the knowledge-based economy and achieve sustainable economic growth. - ONA
