VERONA, SEPT 24

The supervisory team for promoting Omani products (OPEX) organised a seminar titled "Investment Opportunities in the Marble Sector in the Sultanate of Oman" during its participation in the Marmomac International Exhibition for Stone, Architectural Design and Stone Technology, currently taking place in the city of Verona, Italy.

The seminar highlighted key investment opportunities in the marble sector across industrial cities in various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman. It also presented detailed on investment opportunities to be unveiled through the "Taqa" platform, as well as the incentives and facilitations included in the new investment regulations.

His Highness Sayyid Nizar bin Al Julanda al Said, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the Italian Republic, emphasised that Oman’s pavilion at the exhibition has had a strong presence due to its eye-catching design, the high quality and distinctive colours of Omani marble; and the services and facilitation provided by government entities to investors in this sector.

The mining sector is one of the main pillars of Oman Vision 2040. It is underpinned by modern regulations that protect investor rights, embraces digital technologies to simplify procedures and enhance transparency; and provides incentives that support sustainable growth of both local and international investments. — ONA
