MUSCAT: Following Knowledge Oman’s recent announcement of its new initiative 'KO Talks', the leadership team confirmed details of its first session, scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Bausher.

Themed “Ideas for Change, Together We Can,” this inaugural session marks the official beginning of KO Talks as Oman’s premier platform for knowledge-sharing and inspiration.

“This first KO Talks session represents the beginning of a platform that we believe will grow into a national stage for knowledge, innovation and collaboration. Our focus is on enabling individuals to gain insights that inspire action and drive meaningful impact,” commented on the milestone, Balqees al Hassani, President of Knowledge Oman.

KO Talks is designed to bring together leaders, professionals and innovators from across sectors to share transformative stories that empower individuals and foster community development. The initiative reinforces Knowledge Oman’s mission to cultivate a culture of learning, collaboration and growth while aligning with Oman’s long-term vision for innovation and social progress.

The opening session will feature five accomplished local and expat speakers living in the Sultanate of Oman. Bipin Kuriakose, COO of Sustainium and bestselling author, will address “Possibility Thinking: The Superpower of Tomorrow’s Leaders.” Suhaila al Ismaili, Head of Product and Card Business at Bank Nizwa, will share insights on “Essential Communication Skills.” Mahra al Juma, Head of Risk, Compliance, and HR at Oman’s first fintech company, will present “Navigating and Understanding Emotions.” Ramanujam Raghavan, Chartered Accountant and Distinguished Toastmaster, will speak on “Entrepreneurship in the Digital Era.” Khalifa al Kindi, strategic execution leader and Etimad graduate, will deliver “Resilience in Recovery: A Story of Support and Healing.” The programme will run from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and include networking, keynote addresses, alternating speaker sessions, and a closing segment with a raffle draw and coffee networking break. Attendance is open to the public and free of charge, reflecting Knowledge Oman’s mission to educate society and make knowledge accessible to all without barriers.

Balqees added, “The inaugural session reflects our vision to present authentic stories from Oman’s own talent pool. We aim to ensure participants leave not only motivated but also equipped with practical tools for positive change.” Knowledge Oman has been at the forefront of volunteer-led initiatives for over a decade, consistently providing opportunities for collaboration and education. With the launch of KO Talks and its first session, the organisation reaffirms its commitment to empowering individuals, educating the public and making the attainment of knowledge free and accessible to all.
