AL MUDHAIBI: The Al Jarda’a Health Centre in the Niyabat of Samad Al Shan in the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi, North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, has begun receiving patients.
The health centre provides comprehensive treatment and preventive services to residents of the area and neighbouring villages.
Dr Ahmed bin Said al Saidi, Director-General of the Directorate-General of Health Services in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, said that the establishment of the center comes within the framework of the Ministry of Health’s strategy to improve the health system through integrated institutions with high-quality standards. He noted that the center has a treatment and observation hall, a dental clinic, a radiology and laboratory department, registration, examination, and sterilization rooms in addition to a pharmacy and medical store.
Shaikh Nasser bin Sultan al Habsi, representative of the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi in Majlis Ash’shura, said that the Al Jarda’a Health Centre project is a new achievement that adds to the health accomplishments the wilayat has witnessed. He stressed that it represents a qualitative shift that directly addresses the needs of citizens. He explained that the centre’s will alleviate the burden on residents who previously had to travel long distances to reach distant hospitals for treatment or medical checkups.
