

MUSCAT: Oman Airports has received several prestigious accolades under the Airport Service Quality Programme (ASQP), with both Muscat and Salalah airports recognised for excellence in passenger experience by Airports Council International (ACI).
Muscat International Airport won four awards in the category of airports serving 5–15 million passengers annually, including Best Airport in the Middle East, Best Performance for the Most Dedicated Staff, Easiest Airport Journey and Cleanest Airport in the Middle East.
Salalah Airport secured five awards in the category of airports serving under two million passengers annually: Best Airport in the Middle East, Best Dedicated Staff, Easiest Airport Journey, Most Enjoyable Airport for Passengers and Cleanest Airport in the Middle East.
In addition, Salalah Airport was named to the Director General’s Roll of Excellence, one of ACI’s highest honours, recognising airports that have consistently maintained top performance over the years. Muscat International Airport was included in the same list last year, reaffirming its regional leadership.
These accolades add to the growing list of international awards earned by Oman Airports, underscoring its commitment to enhancing the passenger experience and consolidating the Sultanate of Oman’s position as a leading regional aviation hub. — ONA
