MUSCAT: The Military Technological College (MTC) on Tuesday inaugurated a conference on risk management in education titled "Future Challenges and Solutions."
The event, which saw the participation of numerous academics and education sector specialists, was held under the auspices of Dr Said Hamad al Rubaii, President of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences.
The conference features eight main themes, discussing a range of topics on risk and crisis management in educational institutions and the mechanisms for addressing them.
It also aims to find suitable solutions, present proposals for developing national policies on the subject, and encourage research and studies while engaging the community and enhancing its awareness of educational risks. — ONA
