

DOHA - Israeli army radio reported that it attacked Hamas officials in Qatar on Tuesday.
Qatar's Al Jazeera television, citing a Hamas source, said the attack targeted Hamas Gaza ceasefire negotiators.
Several blasts were heard in Qatar's Doha on Tuesday, Reuters witnesses said.
The State of Qatar condemned in the strongest terms the cowardly Israeli attack that targeted residential buildings housing several members of the political bureau of the Hamas movement in Doha, the Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesperson said.
"This criminal assault constitutes a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms, and a serious threat to the security and safety of Qataris and residents in Qatar."
Qatari Foreign Ministry Spokesperson added, The security authorities, civil defense, and relevant entities have immediately begun addressing the incident, taking necessary measures to contain its consequences and ensure the safety of residents and surrounding areas.
"The State of Qatar affirmed that it will not tolerate this reckless Israeli behavior and the ongoing tampering with the region’s security, as well as any actions targeting its security and sovereignty. Investigations are underway at the highest level, and further details will be announced as soon as they are available, " the statement said.
Right next door to the petrol station is a small residential compound that has been guarded 24 hours a day since the beginning of the Gaza conflict.
