Karwa Motors, Oman’s leading vehicle manufacturer, has announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with Empl Fahrzeugwerk GmbH of Austria.
As part of the pact, Karwa Motors will manufacture a range of specialised vehicles, including firefighting and civil rescue trucks, as well as military vehicles designed for security and defence applications.
This partnership will focus on enhancing in-country added value by combining cutting-edge global technologies with local expertise. This approach will enable Karwa Motors to deliver innovative solutions across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and African markets.
Dr Ibrahim bin Ali al Balushi, CEO of Karwa Motors, said: “This partnership marks an important step towards expanding our industrial capabilities and strengthening our presence in regional markets. We are proud to partner with Empl and will work together to provide reliable vehicles that meet the highest standards in in firefighting, rescue and security”.
The partnership is expected to reinforce Karwa Motors’ position as a leading manufacturing company while opening new horizons for industrial development in the Sultanate of Oman.
